Building Work That Matters
The Notion Paris pop-up brought together founders, engineers, and creators, and it reminded me why I became such an evangelist for this tool in the first place.

The highlight was the fireside chat with Matt Rouif and Ivan Zhao.
Matt talked about filling our lives with projects that put a spark in our eyes. Work that has meaning. Work where you can see yourself in it ten years from now. It's simple, but it's also the thing most people never stop to ask themselves.
Luke Harries and Gianna Lengyel made another point that stuck with me: if you're building something: a project, a company, whatever - don't wait until launch to start talking about it. Share your work and thinking along the way. That's what creates velocity. That's what makes iteration easier.

I left thinking less about Notion as a tool and more about what it means to build things that matter. And how rare it is to be in a room with people who actually care about that question.
Thanks to the Notion team for creating a space where those conversations could happen.
